Round gueridon "Aus Têtes de Lions", Empire, South German, probably Munich circa 1810. Wood extraordinarily richly carved with lion heads, paws, palmettes, decorative frieze and dark brown patina. Profiled, slightly protruding and fluted top on 3 lion supports connected by a crosspiece. Small missing parts. D 90 cm. H 91 cm.
