A Chinese Ewer Enamelled on the biscuit in famille verte enamels, the prominent handle in the form of a fo-lion, one foot raised on a ball with incised cash coin decoration, the beast with head turned and fangs bared, the long green mane flowing down the back, the front paws raised to the neck of the ewer, the ewer itself of slender baluster form with slender ‘S’ shaped spout, decorated with birds, flowers and rockwork the cover with a miniature lion finial.
