A pair of Chinese blue and white general jars dating from the early 19th century. Both feature a pair of dragons chasing a flaming pearl over a wave motif. The shoulder has four beast head handles. Dimensions are: 15 inches tall X 10 inches wide, 38.1 cm X 25.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One jar has numerous star cracks to the interior, as well as a crack to the neck. The other jar has a large area of repair to the rim, a repair to one handle, and chips to another handle. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
