A Chinese green-ground sancai bowl dating from the 19th century. The interior has a dragon chasing a flaming pearl, and the exterior has two dragons chasing flaming pearls over a wave and rock motif. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 6.4 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are possible significant repairs throughout. The interior has significant overpainting, and there is one known repair to the rim. The foot has been ground down. There are severe abrasions to the exterior and a firing crack to the foot. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
