A pair of Chinese famille rose plates dating from the Republic period. Each features a scene with five children at play in a landscape with bamboo. The scenes are framed by flowers on a black ground. The bottoms of the plates have 4-character marks. Dimensions are: 1 3/4 inches tall X 9 3/4 inches wide, 4.4 cm X 24.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One plate has a hairline to the rim, while the other plate has one crack to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
