拍品仿青铜鼎造型，如意形双耳，平口，厚沿，壶腹，下承三兽首形足。腹部饰一周回纹，凸显其简洁自如的线条。通体施白釉，釉面凝练如脂，晶莹润泽。整体风格洗练大气，不失为一件文房香具上器。德化窑位于今福建德化，创烧于宋，流行于明清之际，其制品胎、釉浑然一体，瓷质致密，色泽光润明亮，故有「猪油白」、「象牙白」等称。德化窑器具种类繁多，香炉多为仿古铜器所做，拍品即为一例仿商周青铜鼎之作品。
