16th century The cup intricately decorated with meandering lotus blossoms amidst leafy scrolls against on a white ground to the interior and on a turquoise ground to the exterior, the interior with a central roundel enclosing a Sanskrit symbol; the circular dish with a central raised section encircled with ruyi-head flowers, enamelled with scrolling lotus surrounded by a band of various flowers on a turquoise ground, the everted rim with further floral on a white ground. The cup 4cm (1 1/2in) high; the dish 16.2cm (6 3/8in) diam. (2). 注脚 十六世紀 銅胎掐絲琺瑯纏枝蓮紋杯連盞托 Complete sets of cloisonné enamel cups and cup-stands of this period such as the present lot are rare.
