A BAROQUE FIGURE OFA HOLY BISHOP possibly Lower Franconia, 1700 circa H. 63 cm Standing figure with flowing robe and book, the cloak borders with relief decoration in brocade look. Hardwood, probably linden, carved with flattened back. Later stained and coated with varnish. Newly added base. Right hand, part of the miter, tip of the nose, tip of the shoe added, minor age damages. Old inventory label on the reverse, No. 1335.
