signed HUANGSHANSHOU，inscribed，and with two seals of the artist dated Dingsi year（1917） ink and color on paper, hanging scroll Huang Shanshou（1855-1919）,Chinese calligrapher and painter.Huang Shanshou is good at painting figures,landscapes,flowers and animals,especially dragons.Whoever writes the characters and ladies,he likes to use meticulous brushworks and colors that are very elegant.The landscape is mostly blue and green,the charm is ancient and free that shows the extraordinary skill of the artist.The flowers and birds have a vivid appearance with vigorous brushwork. His calligraphy works are similar to Tang Li,Zheng Banqiao of Northern Wei,and Yun Shouping.
