Designed as a rippled band with engraved decor and a central round azurite cabochon in a prong setting. The brooch findings of zinc plated silver attached with a small strip of pewter. This brooch was also a gift from Schmidt-Rottluff to the artist Emma Ritter from Oldenburg and was created during their joint summer stay in the North Sea resort of Dangast in 1910/11. It is immortalised in an etching by Schmidt-Rottluff from 1915, which shows a portrait of the painter, a close friend of the artist and at times his pupil. Dimensions 5.6 x 2.2 cm.
