PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Measurements: Height: 20.75 cm, Diam: 14cm Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Porcelain Lidded Jars. Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, straight belly, round mouth rim, short neck with official hat dome lidded finial bud, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of parent and their child playing on the field beside rock and dense tree, enclosed with Ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within fine blue rectangles lines. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
