PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Measurements: Height: 9.8 cm, Diam: 22.5cm Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Alum Red Porcelain Bowl On Carved Hardwood Stand. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within double blue rings lines. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
