This is the award medal from the School Art league of New York City and dates from 1917. Obverse has the female figure similar to the National Arts Club medal looking at her artwork and at the bottom is engraved "For Fine Craftsmanship". The reverse has "Awarded/1917/By The/School/Art League/of/New York City" and at the bottom R. Stoll NY Loop added at top for suspension Smedley #13, Obtained May 1983, Johnson & Jensen, Lot 445, Envelope included.
