Seated in dhyanasana upon a double lotus throne, his hands raised before his chest in dharmachakra mudra, the Gesture of Teaching, he holds a long lotus stem in each hand, one flower supports an ewer, the other a seedpod, he wears lavish jewellery and a lobed crown, his hair with traces of blue paint, the base incised with a visvavajra, 20cm H, 2.1kg. Manjusri representing transcendent wisdom and is believed to save people from ignorance.
