A pair of 19th century reverse on glass portraits of George and Martha Washington. Both are in their original gilt frames and the original wood backs. Dimensions of George Washington are: framed, 26 inches tall X 22 1/2 inches wide, 10.24 cm X 8.86 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The painting of George has some inpainting to the background. The painting of Martha has inpainting to forehead, hair, left eye and background. Provenance: From a private VA collection.
