A pair of bronze Neoclassical urns and a bronze Neoclassical bust of Athena. The urns have removable lids with Greek key borders and each depicts one of the Muses. The bust of Athena displays her in her armor with the aegis on her breast plate. All items could have possibly been made as grand tour souvenirs. Dimensions are: 1 of the urns measures 16 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 41.91 cm X 24.13 cm; the bust measures, 11 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 27.94 cm X 16.51 cm. Total weight is: 822.14 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: 1 urn has some minor chips to the lid rim and the rim of the base. Provenance: From a private CT collection.
