An early 19th century Chinese celadon blue and white lidded jar. The lid of the jar has bat motifs while the body depicts mythical beasts. Dimensions are: 14 inches tall X 9 inches wide, 35.56 cm X 22.86 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a large chip to the edge of the lid. There are some glaze pops and firing defects. Provenance: From a private New Jersey collection.
