Superbly potted,the baluster body rising to an upright neck and a galleried mouthrim,freely painted with some riders,the shoulder of the vase decorated with phoenixes and qilin among scrolling lotus, and further applied with a pair of dragon handles,all above petal lappets skirting the base,and below a row of 'classic' scrolls encircling the mouthrim,the recessed base and broad footring left unglazed and fired pale orange.
