此炉簋式，形体端庄沉稳，平口外侈，颈部收束，圆腹微垂，腹下急收，颈腹间对铸兽吞把式双耳，双目突出，高鼻饱满，双耳精巧，口吐三弯式耳把，末端未与腹身相连，极为特殊。底承圈足，外撇幅度较大，与口沿唇线相互呼应。 整器包浆厚润，棠梨古色，红润可嘉，局部铜绿苍茂，加之气度庄严，双耳造型尤为稀见，不落俗套，是宣炉中难遇的佳品。
