signed FEIAN,inscribed,and with three seals of the artist dated Jiazi year（1924） ink and color on silk, hanging scroll Yu Feian(1888-1959) ，was a famous painter in modern China. He paid great attention to sketching and painting from nature. And had a preference for light, smooth and bright colours. He is constantly devising ways to depict new themes and subjects. Having traveled and sketched in many places of China, his paintings have a dynamic and lively character and convey the spirit of the times.
