In 1956, he was appointed as painter of Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy. Beginning in 1962, he took part-time classes at Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. In 1980, he officially taught at the Academy and served as the dean of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. Yunshui is a majesty, and it has the appearance of majestic ups and downs. Gouyun hooks water, smoke waves, clouds steam mist, endless changes, and create a large white space, ink block method. It doubles as characters and flowers, and the calligraphy is also unique. Lu Yanshao adopted Feng Chaoran as his teacher in 1927 and met Wu Hufan. With the two gentlemen, he saw many authentic works of famous masters in the past. During the Anti-Japanese War, Lu Yanshaoliu lived in the interior and returned to his hometown in 1946. Prior to this, most of Lu Yanshao's works were the digestion and absorption of ancient traditions. The experience of returning home through the Three Gorges has triggered his sense of innovation, and he began to transform the previous partial transformation of tradition into consciously establishing a personal style. In 1956, he served as a painter at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy. From 1961 to 1966, he went to the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts as a part-time professor of landscape painting; during this period, his painting personality developed and eventually formed his own unique style in his later years.
