Li Shutong (1880-1942), also known as Li Xishuang, Li An, and Li Liang, is named Wentao, whose young name is Chengqi, the scientific name is Guanghou, the word Xishuang, and the other name gargle. He is a famous music and art educator, calligrapher, drama activist, and one of the pioneers of Chinese drama. After returning from studying in Japan, he served as a teacher and editor, and later became a monk. Later he was honored as Master Hongyi. In 1913, he was hired as a teacher of music and drawing in Zhejiang two-level normal school. Since 1915, he has also served as a teacher of music and drawing in Nanjing Higher Normal School. He composed the first school song in the history of Nanjing University.
