A Chinese ink painting on silk of a scholar and an attendant in a house beneath trees in the Xia Gui style of the Song dynasty. It is mounted on a silk backing with wooden dowels. There are areas of repair, overpainting, and loss. Provenance: From Mrs. Lim in Boston, Massachusetts.
