A pair of Chinese ink paintings on paper of orchids by Zida. Each has an inscription and three seals, and it is mounted on a paper backing with silk dowels. Dimensions are: 9 1/2 inches tall X 12 1/4 inches wide, 24.1 cm X 31.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution photos can be found here. Condition: Both paintings have spotting and abrasions. One painting also has some loss and a repair. Provenance: From Mrs. Lim in Boston, Massachusetts.
