A Chinese calligraphy couplet in ink on paper by Li Jian. The calligraphy has two seals, and each calligraphy is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels. Dimensions are: each measures 49 inches tall X 10 1/2 inches wide, 124.5 cm X 26.7 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution photos can be found here. Condition: There are multiple, significant, serious areas of repair, as well as creasing and staining. Provenance: From Mrs. Lim in Boston, Massachusetts.
