A Chinese calligraphy in ink on paper by Sun Yat-sen. It has a signature and one seal, and it is mounted on a paper backing which is mounted on a board. Dimensions are: 29 inches tall X 19 inches wide, 73.7 cm X 48.3 cm, while the board measures 34 inches tall X 23 inches wide, 86.4 cm X 58.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution photos can be found here. Condition: There is severe damage and age wear to the piece. Provenance: From Mrs. Li in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father was a friend of Sun Yat-sen when Mr. Sun was in Hawaii. The calligraphy has been in her family since 1949.
