Western Zhou DynastyThe blade of trapezoidal form gently flaring outwards, the narrow sides notched with two rows of small flanges, with a circular hole pierced near the centre, the attractively polished stone of greenish-yellow tone highlighted by areas of russet inclusions, 5.3cm (2in) long; together with an arc-shaped pendant drilled with two holes at each end, the stone of greyish-green tone flecked with russet inclusions, 7.3cm (3in) long.
