梁伯譽Ink and colour on paper, unmounted. Horizontal zhezhi bird and flower painting featuring a sparrow on osmanthus tree. Signed Liang Boyu, dated gengxu (1970), with oneseal of the artist. Painted for his student Lianzhen (Tse) as the artist inscribed. 31.7 by 59.2 cm. (12 1/2 by 23 1/4 in.) Note: Liang Boyu, also known as Leung Bak Yu.Gwen (Lianzhen) Tse was a student of Leung Bak Yu. Provenance: Painted in Hong Kong by Leung Bak Yu. By descent through the family.
