梁伯譽Ink and colour on paper, unmounted. Depicting a kingfisher soaring over the water. Painted in vertical format with vibrant blue and red palette.Signed Liang Boyu, dated xinhai (1971) at Jiulong Shanzhai, with one seal of the artist and an inscription reads â€œDiaoyulang (folk name of kingfisher / cuiniao) of Luxi.” Painted for his student Lianzhen (Tse) as the artist inscribed. 58.4 by 32 cm. (23 by 12 1/2 in.) Note: Liang Boyu, also known as Leung Bak Yu. Gwen (Lianzhen) Tse was a student of Leung Bak Yu. Provenance: Painted in Hong Kong by Leung Bak Yu. By descentthrough the family.
