吳芾Ink and colour on paper, hanging scroll A full-length portrait of Zhong Kui in yellow court robe. Signed Shiqing Wu Fei in the inscription on the right, dated guiwei (1943),with two seals of the artist (one off which in the lower left corner) and a dedication to Mr. Yangwen who will worship Zhong Kui with the scroll. The title in the middle reads "portrait of Zhong jinshi" in seal script is signed QiaoshengGong Zhi (1869-1943), dated guiwei (1943), with two seals of Gong. The long calligraphy inscription on the left in running script is signed Xiuyi Li Xi (1883-1964), with a dedication to Mr. Yangwen and two seals of Li. 100 by 44.5 cm. (39 1/2 by 17 1/2 in.)
