梁伯譽Ink and red colour on paper, unmounted, depicting a single branch of plum blossoms. Signed Liang Boyu, dated gengxu jiuyue (September 1970), with one seal of the artist. Painted forhis student Lianzhen (Tse) as an example to study, as inscribed by the artist. 34.9 by 46.4 cm. (13 3/4 by 18 1/4 in.) Note: Liang Boyu, also known as Leung Bak Yu.Gwen (Lianzhen) Tse was a student of Leung Bak Yu. Provenance: Painted in Hong Kong by Leung Bak Yu. By descent through the family.
