A 19th century giardinetto brooch, the basket of flowers set throughout with old and old pear shape diamonds, faceted and cabochon gemstones, 42mm long, gross weight 9.3 grams. Condition report: Pear shape diamond, cushion shaped diamond - diamonds generally SI clarity, slight abrasions. Cabochon emerald heavily included and cracked, all gemstones slightly abraded. Replacement cultured pearls. Mount overall condition fair - normal, signs of wear, later pin brooch. Estimated: £550-£750
