The vase is supported on a slightly splayed foot and finely enamelled on the globular body with large lotus blooms,each with a stylised Shou medallion at the centre, decorated and pierced with eight trigrams and Ruyi head,all against a network of floral scrolls on a yellow-ground.The tapering neck is flanked with a pair of ruyi-form handles in gilt,the flared mouth rim similarly decorated with an iron red band further decorated with a band of classic scroll.
