A RARE CLOISONNE ENAMEL CENSER WITH DOUBLE HANDLES. The compressed globular body of the censer is brightly decorated with lotus blooms, between parallel gilt bands enameled in sapphire-blue. The waisted neck is further decorated with a band of smaller flowers with curled tendrils, flanked by a pair of gilt scroll handles, start from beast mouths. Dimension: Ear diameter. 25 cm. H. 14 cm.
