十九世纪 剔红雕人物盒/nA Chinese round cinnabar box dating from the 19th century. The top of the lid features a roundel with a scene of four figures at work. The sides of the box are decorated with coins, Buddhist crosses, and quatrefoils of flowers. The interior and bottom are black. Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 13.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here. Condition: There is cracking and chipping throughout as well as some areas of damage and loss. There are areas of overpainting throughout.
