A FINELY CARVED QINGBAI 'BOYS' CONICAL TEABOWLDia:16.6cm,H:6.1cmThe thinly-potted with deep flaring sides rising from a short tapered foot to an everted rim, exquisitely carved to the interior with three boys amongst a lush ground of scrolling peonies, the petals with furled edges and freely incised with stylised wavy veins, applied overall with a transparent pale blue glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the recesses, the glaze stopping neatly at the foot, the unglazed base revealing the body burnt russet in the firing.
