A 19th century Chinese blue and white bowl, the interior painted with a figure, possibly one of the eight Daoist immortals, on a river bank beside a swimming turtle with overhanging trees and a band or blossoming prunus around the rim, the exterior painted with four large vases with differing floral designs, each accompanied by a pair of seated figures interspersed by songbirds perched amongst fruiting trees, all between ruyi-head bands at the rim and foot, the base with four-character Kangxi mark, 23 cm diameter x 9.5 cm high
