A pair of heavy silver 1937 (George VI) Coronation dishes with lion-mask central bosses, within engraved and inscribed rims reputedly designed by James Warwick, William Comyns & Sons Ltd., London 1936, 9.6oz (301g), 12.5cm. Note: James Warwick was studying at the Royal College of Art when he submitted this design for a competition held by the Goldsmiths Company (bibl. Styles Silver, Hungerford)
