Acue Kuan Yin statue, from the Dali Kingdom in southern China. the deli Kingdom flourished around a thousand years ago and produced its own unique form of Chinese art. They were known for creating this distinctive form of Kuan Yin, known as Acue Quanyin. there are several large extremely beautiful versions of this form of the goddess in the major museums around the world. Occasionally smaller more provincial ones show up on the market. I have had a few over the years, one of which is in my sold section. This particular piece is a mystery to me. I am unsure of age.
