Delightful 12/13thC Cambodian Khmer Hindu bronze. This 4 arm deity is provincially sculpted, but as a piece of spiritual art it is completely successful in the way it is animated in it's stance and expression. It always looked good, but when I recently had this base made for it, it "popped", and its short body stood tall and proud. There are many copies similar to this, but I believe this is an authentic period piece. Stands 5 inches tall (bronze alone), on custom stand the total height is just over 8 inches
