Ca.100-300 AD. Roman. A wonderfully-preserved glass flask with a rounded base, spherical body, short cylindrical neck and flared torus lip. The body is decorated with a raised ridges in the shape of diamonds. The glass shows a superb iridescence. Excellent condition. Flasks such as this one where used in Roman times to serve liquids and archaeological excavations show that they had an Empire-wide distribution.
