许丽樗，民国17年（1928年）毕业于上海新华艺术大学。历任天津长芦盐运使公署场产科科员、湖南禁烟督察处科员、国民党军69师宣教处副处长、青年军上校主任秘书、重庆卫戍总司令部所属壁山军宪警联合督察处上校副处长、江宁县税务稽征处处长。1984年被聘为上海市文史馆馆员。他从24岁起，受清代高其佩指画启示，在中国传统书法基础上，革新指头书法技巧，勤奋钻研，自成一格。作擘窠书气势磅礴，作寸楷端庄秀丽，获柳（公权）、赵（孟頫）正、行楷书之精髓。
