说明：女相观音造像，约始于南北朝，盛于唐代以后，早期多为塑像，惟明代始见玉作。
此尊观音，取材和田籽料，玉质白如截肪，润若凝脂，坚洁细腻，厚重温润。白衣大士造形，面如满月，法相庄严，一手持净瓶，一手手持念珠，线条简洁，自然生动。相近题材记载于《故宫博物院藏文物珍品全集玉器（中）》281页，无论从形制，造型皆十分相似。而在历年拍卖中，香港苏富比2019年10月8日lot125,与佳士得纽约 2021年3月18日lot668，与本品较为相似。
