魏晋南北朝时期的佛教造像以“清羸飘逸”的时代风格著称，连接着佛教从东汉传入至隋唐臻于鼎盛的两个重要时代。此阶段佛法大盛，小型金铜造像在此期大量出现，秀古清像风靡一时。此尊造像即为一尊标准的六朝禅定佛立像。造像通体鎏金，髙肉髻，容貌庄严，神态安详；全身满饰璎珞，纹饰衣纹刻画精细，品相完美，庄严合度，体现出一种舒缓与平和的法喜之情。
