小叶紫檀四出头官帽椅因形似古代官帽而得名，是家具中最能象征等级和规格的种类之一。此作由中国工艺美术大师包天伟重新设计而制。作搭脑中间凸起，两端弯曲上翘，搭脑整挖，细节比例精巧。扶手与鹅脖均为弯曲，扶手与座面间安联邦棍。椅背取三弯大块整料，木纹毛孔细腻，颇耗原材。浮雕“双螭如意”，刀法利落，寓意美好。整器尺寸宽大，均为小叶紫檀油料精制，暗含醇厚劲骨，恰如文人丹心。
