Two Chinese Famille Verte-Decorated Porcelain Dishes Late 17th Century Decorated in bright enamels with lotus, peony and chrysanthemum, each with channel footring to the underside. (2). (Dia: 13 1/2 in. (largest)) Provenance One: Elinor Gordon, Villanova, Pennsylvania (label). Property from a private American collection. Condition report: Both with small rim chips. Dish with painted compartments to interior: light wear to enamel, some spots where green enamel did not fully fill rock forms. Secured in an old, fitted wire hanger; hairline from rim extending radially along one hanger arm. Large leaf mark to center of reverse, some roughness to footrim; Elinor Gordon retail label. Dish with green foliate pattern to interior: wear to enameling on interior bottom, some wear and scratches to enamel on exterior. Red stains or bleeding to exterior and especially to bottom inside channel
