Dial and movement signed Planchon, Paris. Mathieu Planchon and his father were clockmakers in Paris in the 19th century. Candleholders have brass footed marble bases with decorative bronze twin candle holders coming out of a central riser. The clock has floral elements on the clock face and in the bronze work. Dimensions are: Candleholder: 7 3/4 inches tall X 5 inches wide; 19.68 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. Clock: 7 3/4 inches tall X 3 1/4 inches wide; 19.68 cm tall X 8.25 cm wide.
