Two figurines of men in earthen ware. Both have retained some of the paint. One figurine appears to be a soldier and has two cavities which could have accommodated implements of his position as a guard or soldier. Second figure appears to be a court official with ceremonial headpiece. Dimensions are: Court official: 9 1/2 inches tall X 2 3/4 inches wide: 24.13 cm tall X 6.98 cm wide. Soldier figurine: 10 3/4 inches tall X 3 1/4 inches wide; 27.30 cm tall X 8.25 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Age wear. Dried soil on figurines.
