Early 19th-century Scottish mantel clock, 8-day double fuse movement, striking on single bell, white painted eight inch circular dial marked with Roman numbers, indistinctly signed by maker Kierfield, octagonal mahogany case with oval grills to side, cross-banded and inlaid with whitewood string, all standing on box plinth. width 30cm (12"), depth 24cm (9.5"), height 55cm (22") Condition report: Clock face worn with crazed finish, overall condition of case good, small piece of veneer missing to bottom of box base.
