The gilt bronze cloisonne ceremonial saber and scabbard, the elongated 'S'-shaped saber, wealthy decorated in cloisonne enamel works with dragons motif, the opposing end with stylized lotus scrolling twigs patterns and embellished with an intricate gilt bronze sword-guard separating the slender blade, cast in relief with similar motifs. Having a Damascus steel blade marked near the hilt, one side with the four-characters, JiaQing Reign Period, and another side with a gilt stylized dragon. The blade indented on each side with double long grooves, tapering to the gently upturned tip and pierced with coin shaped gilt accents.
